About Us

Building Blocks Christian Learning Center provides a loving and caring child care that reflects the love that Jesus has for all people. We have 2 priorities at Word of Life Church that we embrace at Building Blocks, 1. Everyone gets treated with Love & Respect, and 2. No Exclusion. And in our environment we love to have FUN, so if we aren't having fun, then we're doing it wrong.  

We provide a child-oriented and age-appropriate growing environment.  We love exploring a wide spectrum of interests... from Finger Plays to Fishers of Men, Nature Walks to Noah, Crazy Hat Days to Creation, Music Makers to Moses, Native Americans to the Nativity... through fun, meaningful, and exciting learning opportunities for all. We have a large play area for indoor and outdoor activities as well as some parking lot space for riding bikes.

Our character development program is integrated throughout the day by the examples our providers set forth and through discussion.  We are able to create an atmosphere that reflects love by using the scripture from the Bible in Galatians 5:22:  “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”  This is how God wants us to treat people.

Our staff is committed to spending time praying for the children.   Staff also place an emphasis on the importance of being trustworthy, kind, giving, and loving.  We teach that God is loving and that’s what He desires us to be too.   

Building Blocks Christian Learning Center is licensed by the Le Sueur County Department of Human Services, State of Minnesota.
